Diato GmbH, which was founded in 1979 in Ostfildern, belongs to the leading manufacturers of diamond and boron nitride (CBN) abrasives.
Our abrasives are surface machined to a microfinish from 0.8 mm to 2000 mm. This allows the highest quality geometry and surface requirements to be achieved in bores.
As a subsidiary of Gehring Technologies GmbH, in addition to automobile manufacturers and their suppliers, we also supply general machine and tool manufacturers, manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic components, the aerospace and defense industry, as well as numerous other customer segments. Quality and Environmental Management as well as occupational and health safety are important elements of our company culture. Our process and customer oriented management system is certified according to the guidelines of DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001, NLF/ILO-OSH 2001 (seal of approval „Sicher mit System“) and VDA 6.4.
