Castrol, one of the world’s leading lubricants brands, and Gehring, a globally operating machine tool company, are partnering to roll out Castrol’s SmartControl, a real-time fluid condition monitoring solution, into Gehring’s machine tools. This is part of a wider partnership agreement both parties signed in 2018.

Ostfildern/Nuvolera, December 02nd, 2019: The Gehring subsidiary coppering in Nuvolera/Italy develops together with the Universities of Modena and Nottingham ten prototypes as well as the appropriate production technology for electrical drives in aircraft. In the next 2 years stators will be made from different material for the winding, including tools, machines and production devices with the aim of significantly reducing CO2 and nitrogen monoxide emissions and aviation noise in the future.

Hanover, September 16, 2019: After intensive cooperation in process and technology development, Gehring will equip the Volkswagen Group not only in North America with the latest laser and honing technology for the production of coated EA 211 evo engines, but also from now on the first plants in China. With this success story, Gehring once again demonstrates its competence and technological leadership in the field of cylinder machining to increase the efficiency of internal combustion engines.

Gehring and copperING will join forces in the future. The Gehring Group, a system supplier and specialist in the field of production technology for internal combustion engines, expands its product portfolio by merging with copperING, which provides machines and equipment for the production of electric motors.

The future mobility has to be sustainable and comfortable. Gehring presented his solutions for further CO2-Reduction at the EMO in Hanover. At booth C38 in hall 11, the visitors had the chance to get the latest information about the form honing process and to experience the complete product portfolio.
